Cane toads march further west

Cane toads have advanced 35km west of the WA-NT border, with the toxic amphibians expected to hit the Ord Valley soon as the cool weather continues.

Department of Environment and Conservation mapping has shown the advance is because of the ability of the toads to move up to 3km a night at this time of year.
