The 19-year-old biomedical science student catches the scaly creatures in her spare time and wants more people to call upon her – or other catchers – before taking matters into their own hands.
“It’s just a bit sad – especially when someone can come and get them,” she said.
The Andergrove resident gets call-outs all year round, but there tends to be more when the seasons change and less during the winter months.
Ms Scoble said she liked all animals, but was fascinated by snakes.
“They can be so varied – you get small ones, big ones,” she said. “Some are more nervous than others, some are more calm.”
