Dumped alligator investigation

A woman calls 911 to say she saw two alligators in a pond in East Metro Park in northeast Travis County.

Park Rangers have closed the pond until a game warden can determine whether or not there really are alligators.

“We got a call a 911 call from one of our park visitors saying that she observed a pick up truck back up to this pond and she believed someone was dumping something into the pond,” said Israel Solis, Travis County Park Ranger.
