Croc attacks a dog at Seaforth

Flirting with danger is never a good thing, especially when it is with a hungry crocodile.

Fortunately, Frank Kanak’s Labrador cross survived the attack – despite clearly fighting out of her weight division.

Flirt and her sister Legs were going for a paddle at their favourite swimming spot at Mr Kanak’s Seaforth property – as they do most mornings – when they were joined by a croc.

“Every morning while I am getting ready for work I let Flirt and her sister, Legs, off the chain for a swim and run,” Mr Kanak said.

“Just before I leave for work I normally beep the horn and they come back but this morning only Legs came back. She walked up like she was going to get into trouble so I asked her, where is your sister? She was looking back and started going off.
