Leave iguana alone

The National Trust of Fiji has urged members of the public not to move green iguana currently found on Taveuni and Qamea to other locations.

This as experts suspect the reptile was found in these locations because people had transported them there.

“These iguanas cannot swim very far so the logic behind them being found in other places is that they have been taken there,” said National Trust of Fiji project officer Jone Niukula.
