Is croc hunter Corey Wild the next Steve Irwin?

He wears khaki and loves nothing more than harassing dangerous reptiles – after four years, Australia could have found its successor to Steve Irwin.

Corey Wild (catchphrase: Wild by name, wild by nature) is being touted as the new Crocodile Hunter after Irwin died from a stingray barb.

In his amateur home videos the wildlife guru is seen kissing cobras at his crocodile park in Cairns, north Queensland.

And while Irwin wrestled his first croc aged nine, Wild milked the venom of a deadly brown snake when he was 12.

    How wonderful that someone has the guts to continue to spread the love of wildlife and the message of conservation in an enthusiastic loving way. Good on him for having the courage to do such a thing with all the understandable Steve Irwin comparisons.. Brave man indeed!! I hope he goes a long way and that everyone gives him the same love and warmth they gave to a certain other person that was spreading the same message. Good on him!!
