More resources for croc exclusion zone

The Territory Government has finally bitten the bullet and decided to give more resources for the 50km “croc-free zone”.

The government is expected to make an announcement today regarding the implementation of the crocodile management plan.

The Northern Territory News understands the announcement will involve getting more people for crocodile management.

The 50km no-tolerance zone was proposed in the draft croc management plan, which was announced last April following the death of 11-year-old Briony Goodsell near Lambells Lagoon.
