Man found, not eaten by crocodiles

Police have called off a search for a man who was reported missing in crocodile-infested waters near Cairns, after he was located alive in the city.

Cairns water police called off the search for the 48-year-old Manunda man just after 11am, when it was reported the man had been seen in the Cairns CBD last night, according to a report in the Cairns Post.

Neither the man, nor the person who had seen him, was aware that he had been reported missing.
